The Omega Solar Audio Bible, launched in 2017, is the result of a collaboration between mission workers, technology specialists and entrepreneurs, including AudioVie (Global Recordings Network – France). The unit price is $20 and can get as low as $15 for quantities of 500+.
The player has a 5W speaker, making it one of the loudest players. It has a solar panel on the back and an internal memory of 8 or 16 GB, packaged in a durable case. It can handle three levels of file management, e.g. (1) OT/NT, (2) books and (3) chapters, or (1) different languages, (2) books and (3) chapters.
