The Faith and Farming programme seeks to encourage farmers by learning from the many farmers in the Bible, including God Himself who planted the Garden of Eden.

“The goal of Faith and Farming is twofold: to help those working on the land to engage with all of the Bible in the language that they use as they work on their farms or with their animals. We also want to help them make a connection between their faith in God and their day-to-day work so that their whole life is impacted for God and reflecting His greatness in everything they do and say.”

Faith and Farming is part of the Scripture Engagement Department of SIL Nigeria. It was started in 2017 by Katharine Norton and Yunana Malgwi, with the aim of seeing farmers better connect their life of farming with their faith.

There is a list of possible topics to choose from for a Faith and Farming workshop, including:
